The Beverley & District Chamber of Trade is pleased to invite members and local business owners to our next monthly meeting at The Ferguson Fawsitt in Walkington on Wednesday 30th September, from 5:45 pm to 7 pm.
As always, the meeting will be chaired by Shaun Dart, who will provide an update on the latest business news, developments and issues affecting Beverley and the surrounding area.
Guest speaker: John Turner
We are also pleased to welcome John Turner, who will be speaking about Beverley Fairtrade and the work underway to support Fairtrade in the local community.
John will be looking for practical help and ideas, including:
- Support with social media
- Shops that may be able to stock Fairtrade chocolate
- Ideas for funding
- Other ways local businesses and organisations can offer support
This will be a great opportunity to learn more about Fairtrade in Beverley and consider how local businesses can get involved.
There will also be the usual opportunity for members to share updates about their own businesses, followed by time for informal networking and conversation with fellow members.
