Great, fantastic, awesome meeting at Tolle Kitchens

The Beverley Chamber’s July meeting took place on Wednesday, 30th July at Tolle Kitchens, 4 Sow Hill Road. As always, it was held on the last Wednesday of the month, drawing a strong turnout from local business members.

Meeting Highlights:

  • Kitchen Design Insights: John and Lynne McBride from Tolle Kitchens opened the meeting by sharing the latest trends and innovations in kitchen design, particularly German-manufactured kitchens which they sell exclusively. Their presentation highlighted new materials, layouts, and technologies that are shaping modern kitchens, providing valuable inspiration for members in related industries. They also told us that they chose the name "Tolle" as it is German for great, fantastic or awesome.
  • Business Updates: Shaun Dart, Chair of Beverley Chamber of Trade (BCoT), delivered key updates on issues affecting businesses in Beverley. He covered local economic developments, upcoming initiatives to support business growth, and VJ day, which is coming up next week.
  • Exclusive Theatre Offer: Diane Claughton from East Riding Theatre introduced a special offer exclusively for Beverley Chamber members. This included free tickets to see Vincent Regan in Answering Machines. This is an important new work developed through ert's PlayLab programme
  • Sponsorship videos: Ben Gardiner from Beverley & ER Golf Club showed video flyovers of the holes sponsored by the Chamber, as well as members Tolle Kitchens and Beverley Travel.

Following the presentations, attendees continued to network, enjoying the fine spread and drinks offered by John and Lynne. This provided a relaxed atmosphere for members to connect, share ideas, and explore potential collaborations.

The July meeting successfully combined informative presentations with valuable networking, reinforcing the Chamber’s role as a hub for business support in Beverley.
