BCoT held the last meeting of 2025 at Beverley Golf Club

As businesses prepare for the festive season and reflect on the past year, plans are underway to ensure a positive year ahead. Shaun Dart, Chair, shared his thoughts: “The Chamber of Trade wields strong influence by bringing together businesses of all sizes under one collaborative voice. It provides a platform where entrepreneurs can connect, exchange ideas, and support shared interests.”

Shaun added, “As Chair of the Chamber, I have received fantastic support from everyone and look forward to growing the Chamber as much as possible with your help.”

The Beverley Chamber of Trade supports new businesses by offering guidance, resources, and a welcoming network to help them overcome early challenges. Through events, mentorship, and shared expertise, it links entrepreneurs with experienced leaders and potential partners.

Recognising award-winning businesses and outstanding efforts in building relationships fosters a strong sense of community. This encourages collaboration, increases visibility, and builds confidence among members.

By promoting businesses and bringing them together, the Chamber creates opportunities for growth, learning, and mutual support. This ensures new ventures feel connected, empowered, and well-positioned to succeed within Beverley’s thriving local business ecosystem.

After the formal proceedings, attendees were invited to enjoy food provided by Beverley Golf Club. Ben Gardiner, a club member and former captain, said, “The Golf Club welcomes everyone. Please consider using our clubhouse facilities for business meetings, coffees, lunches and evening meals, or entertainment—you are all welcome.”

Spencer Barnbrook, the catering owner, mentioned that he had won a REYTA award for one of his other ventures – Wild at North Bar Within – and aims to deliver the same high standard at Beverley Golf Club.

The rest of the meeting continued with attendees enjoying food and networking.

Upcoming events:

  • Social drinks: Thursday 11th December 5:30 onwards at Beverley Hills Diner
  • Next official meeting (AGM): Wednesday 28th January 2026 at The Hive, Flemingate, Beverley
