Bulgaria can be very cheap to eat out and buy products. Arrange to see One Travel’s in-house expert, Amber, who has recently been to Bulgaria and can give some great advice on visiting the country.
St Vlas is approximately 5 kms north of the busy, purpose-built holiday resort of Sunny Beach.
St Vlas (also known as Sveti Vlas or just “Vlas”) has a lovely feeling to it and is home to some of Bulgaria’s amazing beaches and stunning marina. The area is scattered with traditional Bulgarian houses, just a few little hotels and small apartment blocks plus bars and restaurants as well as little shops etc.
For a more traditional Bulgaria St Vlas is a great holiday, and with it being close to Sunny Beach you have the best of both.
A UNSECO site of world heritage, Nessebar provides the perfect balance of historical buildings, markets and many restaurants, with great views to complement the good food on offer. Navigate through the narrow cobbled streets
and look out for traditional craft shops.
A short ten minute drive from Sunny Beach and twenty minutes from St Vlas, Nessebar makes an excellent day trip as well as a longer stay.
Stretching for over fifteen kilometres of golden sand, Sunny Beach has become one of the most popular spots in Bulgaria. This has brought an array of attractions, from waterparks to a bustling night life, creating the perfect action packed holiday.
Nearby to Sunny Beach, there is the Action Aquapark, with over 30 water attractions in all here ranging from extreme plunges to more relaxing rivers and pools.
